Add a little colour to your life

colorware2-710Those of us of a certain age will remember the grey/beige Apple products. For years nearly all Macs and PCs came in serious looking, no fun, drab colours. It wasn’t until Apple shook up the market with the launch of it’s fruit coloured G3 iMacs back in 1999. These came in lime, strawberry, blueberry, grape, and tangerine.

As the Apple brand became more sophisticated and high end and this was reflected in the stark minimal design of it’s products. Clean, streamlined, and beautiful but devoid of colour. White became brushed aluminium. Metal colours were the core look across all of Apple’s products, from Macs, laptops, iPads and iPhones. But if you’ve missed the bright colours of the iMacs of the 90s or the iPods of the noughties and you’re eager to stand out from the masses, then you’re in luck. US based company Colorware offer a mind-blowing combination of colours with which to colour up your gadgets. Its not only Apple products that they can individualise; they can also customise games consoles, controllers, head phones and speakers.
